We packed a load of fun in the last two weeks! Started in Moses Lake and worked our way East to Montana!

Robs Uncle has a beautiful and fun loaded place on Moses Lake that is always a good time! We got to Celebrate Bek's birthday and have a little Washers competitions and $h!t on your neighbor fun!
Then we headed on back to the parents place on Lake Roosevelt! got to do a little upgrading and updating on the place there and have some fun in the sun and water there!

Another pleasure of Robs parents place is the wildlife! Deer and Goats are in the yard all the time! Eagles fly by and its always fun to see the new babies every year!

We barely have time to get home unload and reload for the next adventure!
The Gilmore's have a reunion every summer an this year Montana is the spot so we decided to take a preview of the coming reunion in August and get a better idea of what to pack and see what there was to do! www.canyonferrylakekoa.com The KOA staff is great the place we had the motorhome is rough camping down the road a bit and right on the water but the KOA is close and available!
We were very pleasantly surprised!
The weather was a bit sketchy for boats as the water was pretty rough and from what we gathered can be pretty unpredictable but it sounded like the ocean all night and there was a storm across the lake that was an awesome site to see! The girls had a ball in the water and there was lots of room to stretch out and enjoy!

We stopped at another of Rob's uncles in Montana but I didn't get any pics :( Oops! Just an excuse to go back! :)
Decided to take a mining adventure at Gem Mountain in Phillipsburg Montana!
This was great! We had a ball!

This was an education and lots of fun! one bucket kept 7 of us busy for about an hour!(Of course this is SUPER addicting and one bucket is NOT enough!) Sapphires, Amethyst and Garnets a little Pyrite Lots of dirt and fun! If you decide on this adventure make sure you not only get a few buckets but the bags available are TOTALLY worth it as well!

After a long afternoon of painstaking treasure hunting we found a great little campsite and settled in for the eveing!
