Montana mini adventure

Rob's brother has an obsession... with hats! Not just any old hat, but fitted sport team hats! and We can't order them online and only in emergencies can we use Lids.

Rob likes to do things in large fashion so whenever we travel we get his brother quite a few hats from THE stadium of the sports team!

Recently his brother came to the house for a visit and Rob being who he is decided his brother should be included on a hat hunting adventure so he loaded us all in the motorhome: his brother, the kids even kids that weren't ours, and the dog and off we headed to Montana!
down the road we go!
Our first stop on our adventure was to the University of Montana in Missoula!

Trist is modeling for us!

We also took an adventure downtown Missoula trying to find the Missoula Osprey hat for Ryan! We located the original office in an older residential area, but for those of you who MapQuest it has moved downtown to the HUB!  Also watch out for the ONE WAY streets! They can be a real challenge particularly in a 31 foot motor home  LOL! :)

Then we had to really haul @$$ for Helena in order to catch the Season Opening game with the  Missoula Osprey and Helena Brewers!

We got to Helena and I was impressed with the park! We were wishing we had more time as the city park itself looked like fun for the kids with a big fort playground and water slides at the pool!

The baseball field itself was nice as well! we picked bleacher seats as the weather was phenomenal!

This was a fun game to watch! Lots of lefties on both teams so lots of foul balls! Helena won 5-6 in the 12th inning!

Well to prove how crazy and unpredictable we truly can be! We all jumped back in the motor home and hauled @$$ for home...got hungry and tired so we pulled into a truck stop at 3am and got something to eat, them climbed back into the motor home got a few miles down the road and slept at a weigh station on the side of the Interstate! got up in the AM let all the kids sleep while we drove the rest of the way home!

I think his brother ended up with 4 or 5 hats from this little adventure and got to see a baseball game as well!

We barely got home to unpack and repack for the next adventure...CALIFORNIA!!!!
