Another busy two weeks

Well we traveled from Deep Montana to the Washington Coast line and had a ton of fun in between!

We of course enjoyed the family reunion held at Canyon Ferry Lake in Montana
Visiting, family activities, fishing, sun, water and the smell of a campfire were just a few of the things we enjoyed at The Silos on Canyon Ferry Lake!

The Silos is next to the KOA and the staff there is amazing! Thanks so much to them all for everything to make our stay that much better!

Full moon over the lake

storms move in fast at sunset
gorgeous after storm views

sapphire & gem hunting from Gem Mountain Mine dirt

Gem Mountain in Phillipsburg MT was such a hit last time that we of course had to hit it again! The staff there is always friendly and helpful and the camping is great! and nothing beats finding a beautiful sapphire yourself!

taking an afternoon break

The family reunion is of course just the beginning for us...onto Polson  MT, Flathead Lake! For more fun!

need we say more?

Polson KOA view

Pool with a view at Polson KOA
The KOA in Polson is impeccable! Beautiful views, nice staff, clean clean clean!!!

We decided to check out a few things in the area while we were there and started with Kerr Damn and its power plant! More beautiful views and lots of hiking around a gorgeous environment!

After the Kerr Damn it was on to some fun and entertainment for the kids (Big kids included!)

Happy Hippo

Awesome fun filled ride!!!!
The Happy Hippo is an amphibious vehicle made by the military that drives around Polson giving a small tour and then into Flathead lake for a very wet and fun adventure
Captian Bob and the town of Polson make this a MUST SEE adventure for anyone who loves water! I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind getting wet and attacked by pirates! :)  Our girls are the perfect age and this is defiantly an awesome family memory made! Thanks to Captian Bob and John L and the Happy Hippo staff for so much fun!!!

After completely wearing our girls out they moved on to other places and activities and Rob and I on with more adventures driving all the way over to Washington coast (with a small 12 hour stop at home to sleep in our bed for a couple hours and do the fastest 3 loads of laundry in history! LOL!)

After a night and breakfast with Rob's Gram in Carnation we headed on to Ocean Shores WA.

Ocean view camping
Here we stayed at the Quinault Marina and RV park! Tom and Patty make this place a great retreat for every walk of life! There are tents, trucks, campers, trailers and motor homes of every shape size and model! There are dogs, kids and people of every age size and culture!

We walked the beach, we visited with our neighbors and we even got a ride to the Casino for an evening!

Dinner, a comedian and a little slots made for an awesome stay and we look forward to our next stay there!

We stopped back by the Casino the next morning on our way home and had a great breakfast for $1.99! Hashbrowns, eggs (cooked your choice) and your choice of Canadian Bacon; Bacon or sausage! and the serving is very generous! and the slots at the bar were pretty generous as well! LOL ;)

Ocean Shores wildlife
Ocean shores has a great amount of wildlife wandering around and its always fun to see them thriving!

Pacific beach WA
We took a ride up to Pacific Beach and WOW! amazing views and stunning beaches but it was SO busy all the campsites were booked and beaches were packed!

Well I think I covered it all! :) It was a great trip and a lot of fun and wonderful memories were made, who knows what will be next! ;) Check in soon to see what we come up with!

Cheers! Until next time! :)
